After releasing the original version earlier this year, C’batch returns with a completely reimagined take on "Next Time (I Won’t Be Falling)".

Now titled "Next Time (I Won’t Be Falling/You’ve Got Me Falling)," the remix brings soulful vocals into a polished dance production, turning the song into an uplifting track about moving forward and unexpectedly finding love again.

The emotional side of the song remains at the center, but this version adds infectious grooves and a stronger electronic pulse.
It's the kind of track that can easily move between a summer playlist, a weekend set or a late-night dancefloor.

The production draws from dance pop, vocal house, melodic house, soulful house and nu-disco, while keeping the warmth of the original songwriting.
C’batch is the artist name of Stephen H. Cumberbatch, a composer, producer, guitarist and musician from White Plains, New York.

C’batch

His career in music stretches back decades. He is also a member of ASCAP and has worked with a wide range of artists and music professionals throughout his career.

Among his published work is "I Need You Now" by Sinnamon, a song that became an important part of New York's club culture in the 1980s.

The track's acapella and synth-driven production went on to influence later generations of dance music and has been sampled extensively over the years.

C’batch has also worked on projects including "Let Me Do You" by NV, as well as releases with Kreamsicle, Eleanore Mills and other artists.

Much of his recent work has been developed through Stevette Music, Inc., the independent publishing and production company he founded with Yvette Cumberbatch in 1984.

The company has continued to serve as a home for his music and collaborations, including projects such as Unfinished Business with Cbatch & Herring and several EP releases.

Now, C’batch is preparing a series of collections that look back across his musical journey and the influences that have shaped his work.

With "Next Time (I Won’t Be Falling/You’ve Got Me Falling)," he brings that experience into a contemporary dance setting.

The single arrives on July 10, 2026, accompanied by an official YouTube video premiere, offering a new version of a song about love, second chances and moving on.
