Australian artist Get Bec returns with "Cocoon," a glossy disco-pop track about desire, obsession and the kind of crush that can get a little out of hand.
Written and produced entirely by Get Bec, the song was created during a cold winter in Perth but sounds like the complete opposite.
What begins as an intense crush gradually turns into something closer to a stalker fantasy. Get Bec knows exactly how strange it is and leans into it with plenty of humour.
The result is bright, sensual and highly danceable, with a tongue-in-cheek edge that keeps "Cocoon" from taking itself too seriously.
