With his producer and co-writer, Wes, Jax created his own sound. He even played most of the instruments himself - guitar, drums, piano, synths, bass, percussion, and vocals - to get things just right. I hope these songs mean something to you because they meant everything to me, he says, and you can totally hear that in the music.

Growing up in the countryside near Henderson, Kentucky, Jax always wanted something more. He got inspired after watching a 30 Seconds to Mars video at a festival. That's when he told his dad, This is what I want to do. He got his start singing for Atlas of the Dogs on stages in southern Indiana, like the Ford Center and Victory Theatre. But making it on his own with a new, unique sound is what made his solo project happen. I'll Be Fine is more than just a beginning; it's Jax saying he knows who he is and is now ready to share his music with everyone.
