Life has a way of testing people when they least expect it. For KahMenCents, music is a way to turn those difficult moments into something positive.
Known as “The VibeMaster,” the artist brings that mindset to “Press Sure,” a single built around a simple idea: instead of letting pressure hold you back, use it to move forward.
Released on April 26, 2021, the track plays with the words in its title to deliver its message.

When life puts you under pressure, you can choose to turn that experience into motivation. The song encourages listeners to keep working toward their goals, even when circumstances make the road difficult. It is less about pretending that problems don't exist and more about finding a way to move through them.
Producer CazperrBeats recognized the track's potential to motivate listeners, while Al B handled the mixing. The production draws on UK drill influences, giving the song a contemporary rap sound that supports its message without making it complicated. At its core, “Press Sure” is about resilience and the possibility of making something worthwhile out of difficult situations.
KahMenCents was born in Killeen, Texas, and emerged as an artist from Tulsa, Oklahoma. His musical identity draws from different corners of hip-hop and soul, with influences ranging from Ice Cube and Jeezy to Curtis Mayfield and Marvin Gaye. That mix helps explain his approach: he wants his music to carry a message, but he also wants people to enjoy themselves while listening.
His sound isn't limited to one mood or style. Alongside rap, he draws inspiration from artists known for their melodies, rhythm, and ability to connect with an audience, including Drake and Michael Jackson. The result reflects an artist interested in more than just delivering verses. For KahMenCents, music is also about creating an atmosphere and making people feel something.
That philosophy extends to his live performances, where his enthusiasm for music and his desire to connect with people become central to the experience. His nickname, “The VibeMaster,” reflects the positive energy he wants to share with listeners. Whether through a laid-back groove or a more direct motivational track, he aims to leave people feeling better than they did before they pressed play.
With “Press Sure,” KahMenCents puts that outlook into a song that anyone facing a difficult period can relate to. The message is straightforward: pressure doesn't have to be the thing that breaks you. Sometimes, it can become the reason you keep going.
