Moose Wrench

Sometimes someone just makes a mess of your place. Moose Wrench have decided that is more than enough material for a song.

The Leeds trio return with the third single from their upcoming album Mr. Sidequest, continuing their strange and deliberately chaotic take on alternative rock. Their music comes from the darker

Moose Wrench describe themselves as three lost souls who somehow made their way from the Nevada desert to Leeds after fleeing a flock of flying monkeys. Whether that story should be taken seriously is beside the point. Their music carries the same absurdity, mixing a sense of existential suffering with a playful approach to the problems that come with getting older.

Moose Wrench

There is something refreshingly unserious about the project. Instead of turning everyday frustration into another exercise in self-importance, Moose Wrench lean into the ridiculousness of it all. Their “existential dad-bod alt-core” label says almost everything you need to know about their approach.

As the third single from Mr. Sidequest, the track adds another piece to a record built around the band's particular view of mid-life chaos. Moose Wrench may have arrived in Leeds from somewhere between time and space, but their problems are surprisingly recognizable.

They might be lost souls from another dimension, but at least they have a sense of humor about it.
