Italian alt-pop duo Redesya turn the contradictions of growing up into music with TendeRage, a five-track EP shaped by anxiety, self-discovery, frustration, and nostalgia. Made during a trip to London that gave the duo some space to clear their heads, the project brings together pop, alt-rock, and electronic textures without trying to smooth out its rough edges.

The title says a lot about what Redesya are exploring. TendeRage combines tenderness with anger, two emotions that often exist at the same time. The songs move between moments of vulnerability and sharper reactions, reflecting the emotional confusion that can come with navigating your twenties.

“Liv” captures the anxiety of moving too fast, while “Blah Blah Blah” takes a more direct approach, calling out fake friendships and the frustration that comes with them. On “Jessie,” Redesya move toward questions of identity and fluid self-discovery, while “Blue Nostalgia” looks backward, turning childhood memories into something both comforting and bittersweet.

Across the EP, the duo avoid presenting adulthood as something neatly figured out. Instead, TendeRage lives in the uncertainty between knowing what you want and still trying to understand yourself. There is anger, but also affection; confusion, but also nostalgia.
